What is ForumRev?
ForumRev is a service that connects reviewers with advertisers that need to promote their products or websites. Much like an auction, advertiser ask for reviews and interested reviewers bid on them.

What are the review guidelines?
1. Posts must be at least 100 words. Please use whatever length you feel is appropriate aside from the minimum of 100 words.
2. Posts must be dated the day they were completed.
3. You must link to the Product/Wesite URL at least once in your post
4. Posts must include grammar, language and spelling that are of presentable quality.

Can affiliate links be included on posts?
No, review posts may not contain affiliate links when linking back to the advertiser.

Do posts need to disclose that they are paid posts?
No.

Are positive reviews requests allowed?
We do not allow advertisers to require a positive review. The vast majority of reviews are measurably positive, although many do contain constructive criticism. We view this solution as a bonus: how else can you quickly and cheaply receive feedback on a product or service from influencers?

Can you give me a real world example?
Sure: John has written an eBook on Nutrition and wants to promote it. John signs in - for free - on ForumRev, as an advertiser and posts the following review request: "I have written a somehow polemic eBook with some new theories on nutrition and diets and would love to have a great discussion about it on a health forum; would go as far as $25, depending on the quality of the forum."

Michael, already member of ForumRev, is also a regular member of a forum about health related issues and thus receives an email alert saying a review request about a topic he is expert on has just been posted.

Michael logs in, bids $15 to write the review, and posts the following message: "I think I can help you. I have been a member of a forum about health related products for a couple of years now. I will PM you the URL, and my nick on that forum. Check it out."

Michael then sends the health forum URL by PM (Private Message) to John, keeping the forum identity behind closed doors. John likes what he sees on the health forum and accepts the bid. The review is posted and discussed on the health forum, getting John the promotion he wanted. Michael gets paid. ForumRev keeps 5%.

Who owns this?
I do. My name is Jose Augusto, and I am computer engineer from Lisbon, Portugal, Europe. I am also an old time domainer, so you can easily find me on dnlocal.com forum under the name Lidador.

How can I use Escrow?
Escrow exists so that the money is sent to a third part and that third part holds it till the review gets posted.

ForumRev only does Escrow for payments above $50. For using the escrow just proceed as usual and then ask the Advertiser to send the money to Escrow before you post your review on the forum. After that, you should send a PM to EscrowManager user so that he can check the forum post and release the money to the reviewer.

We just like to remind you that ForumRev is a market where forum members sell their reputation, and thus it is very unlikely they will jeopardy it for a couple of dollars.

Why the Paypal costs to deposit money on ForumRev?
Because Paypal charges me fees also. There's no fee when you withdraw money to your Paypal account
